Gabriel Paletta is not a name that will be familiar to every Liverpool fan, as the Argentinian defender only played 3 times for the club during the 2006/07 season, but his name may ring a bell for a few after a comically bad attempt at a tackle while playing for AC Milan.
Paletta has mixed the good with the ridiculous for AC this season as the Milanese club had enjoyed a bright start to the season leaving them just two points behind leaders Juventus after last weekend's matches, but a damaging 3-0 loss to Genoa on Tuesday night brought them back down to earth.
And Gabriel Paletta has to shoulder a large part of the blame. With his side trailing 1-0, he did what can only be described as the type of tackle your mates would try on you on a really, really rainy day when you were a kid.
It was absolutely wild.
On what planet...
After leaving Liverpool he returned to Argentina to play for Boca Juniors, before spending five years with Parma and joining Milan after they... Ceased to be a club.
As we suggested above, he has been good in spells for AC this year but ultimate prone to brainfarts like the one we just saw. Head banger.
