PSG's strong start to life under Thomas Tuchel continued today with a comfortable 4-2 Nîmes victory but it ended a sour note for World Cup star Kylian Mbappé who was sent off for his reaction to a tackle late in the game.
Mbappé got on the scoresheet to put PSG in the lead with ten minutes remaining after a stunning strike past Paul Bernardoni and Eddison Cavani added a fourth shortly afterward.
However, in the 94 minute, the French teen was shown a red card after he was brought down by Téji Savanier.
Mbappé was visibly furious with the tackle, which also saw Savanier sent off. He is now set to miss their tie against St. Etienne later this month.
