When you think of where the most beautiful goals are scored, you think La Liga, Serie A the Premier League etc. The French third division would probably be long down on the list, but over the weekend two goals were scored in the same game that could arguably be contenders for the Puskas award.
AS Lyon Duchere and Entente drew 2-2 in the Championnat de France National which is essentially the third tier league in the country and two of the strikes were truly out of this world.
The first was from William Sea of Entente who connected beautifully with a bicycle kick after a free kick was floated to the edge of the box.
The second worldie came in the dying minutes of the game. Matthieu Ezikian was loitering with intent around the edge of the d, when a corner was pulled back to him.
Showing Paul Scholesesque technique the player struck a powerful volley that ripped into the top left corner giving AS Lyon a draw in the most dramatic of circumstances.
