Barnsley - captained by Cork's Daniel Hourihane - are back in the Championship, following a 3-1 victory over victory over Millwall at Wembley. The pick of the goals was the goal that made Barnsley's lead nigh on unassailable by Adam Hammill. Some of you may remember Hammill from the youth teams at Liverpool. He was hailed as a major prospect when he starred in Liverpool's 2006 FA Youth Cup winning side. Hammill failed to make a senior appearance with the path to the first-team blocked by such zippy luminaries as Bolo Zenden.
Hammill has had a circuitous route to prominence today - via Dunfermline, Southampton, Wolves among many others - but when given a chance to shine on the biggest stage, boy did he take it:

What a hit. For Millwall, David Forde remained on the bench. Barnsley are promoted to the division from which they were relegated back in 2014.
