Manchester City are through to the Semi-Final of the Carabao cup on penalties. After 120 minutes couldn't separate the sides, a shoot-out was required which saw Man City successfully convert every single one.
City took an early lead thanks to Bernardo Silva but in a dramatic 97th minute, Leicester won a soft penalty and Jamie Vardy ensured extra-time was required. Ironically, it was Vardy who missed one of Leicester's spot kicks later on that ensured Pep Guardiola's team join Arsenal in the last four.
It is the second time Manchester City have needed penalties in this competition, but Guardiola will be encouraged by the performance of a number of young players including Phil Foden, Brahim Díaz and Lukas Nmecha.
