It's not been a great day, few weeks, even years for Arsenal's beleaguered boss Arsene Wenger.
After guiding his side to the final of this year's League Cup, the Frenchman had to look on as Arsenal were ruthlessly carved apart by Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
With prominent football figures like Gary Neville letting his thoughts on their insipid performance being known throughout, Wenger revealed in his post-match press conference that even the match officials were making light of his situation.
At 3-0 down and with no obvious route back into the game, Wenger was nonetheless unhappy with the limited amount of injury time that was given.
Making his complaint clear to the official, Wenger was asked, 'Why do you want more time?'
In surprisingly good spirits given the nature of today's defeat, one suspects Wenger may be glad to put today behind him and focus on what can be salvaged from another disappointing season for the Arsenal.
