Manchester United suffered a humiliating 3-0 loss against Tottenham Hotspur to compound a disastrous few weeks for the club.
Goals from Harry Kane and a Lucas Moura double ensured Jose Mourinho's side were comprehensively beaten in front of their home fans. The result comes after last week's 3-2 loss against Brighton and their is no doubt focus will now turn to taking action and resolving the crisis.
At the end of the game, a sullen Mourinho stayed behind as his companions headed for the tunnel. The United boss strode towards the remaining United fans and applauded them in an act that certainly caught attention. This was his biggest home defeat as manager.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Gary Neville described him as "emotional" and said United's game-plan descended from "intensity to chaos."

14 years ago, Mourinho sprinted down the Old Trafford touchline as a kind of swaggering image of the future. Tonight he trooped off at the other end, grey, slumped and shattered as yesterday's man. That, in fairness, is some lovely #symmetry

One thing is for certain: Manchester United are in crisis mode. The club can brief what they want, but results speak louder and some players look like they have totally given up playing for Mourinho.

Jose Mourinho looks like he’s about to quit, judging by his actions after the final whistle. Applauding the fans for a couple of minutes whilst picking up a United scarf. No doubt he’ll blame a lack of investment, but he has spend millions since arriving, and that is his team.

Next up for is a potentially tricky away trip to Burnley, as the club's shocking transfer window transfers into their regular season.
