The German second division played host to a fairly inconspicuous tie between Duisburg and Inglostadt this afternoon.
Yet, it may well become infamous for one of the most outstanding goalkeeping blunders you are likely to see.
On a day where Stoke City's Jack Butland made a horrendous error to grant Leicester City a point in today's earlier Premier League kick off, Duisburg's Mark Flekken has unquestionably gone one worse.
In a tempestuous game that threw up 9 cards in total, a breaking ball in Inglostadt's favour appeared like it should not overly trouble the Duisburg back-line.
Yet, as it emerged close to the edge of Flekken's box, he appeared to be none the wiser.
In an almost perfectly captured moment, as the camera pans to the goalmouth with Inglostadt's Stefan Kutschke bearing down on a one-on-one with Flekken, he had turned the other way, taking a sip from his water bottle.
A truly baffling sight, one would really have to question what caused Flekken to turn around when he did.
You can watch the incident below.
