Borussia Dortmund have enjoyed a fantastic season in the Bundesliga this term under Thomas Tuchel, and some in Germany even think that the black and yellow may yet catch Pep Guardiola's Bayern Munich before the end of the season, but they sent a clear message out to the rest of the Europa League in the first leg of their fixture against Spurs.
After taking the lead through the prolific Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the first half, Marco Reus doubled the lead from close range just after the hour mark, and then 10 minutes later the tie was pushed further out of the reach of Tottenham by a sublime team move again finished off by Reus:
Borussia Dortmund - Good at football.
Look at the runs Castro and Reus make when Aubameyang comes into possession, and then the quality of the finish, just outstanding.
It will be a seriously tough task for Spurs to reverse this scoreline at White Hart Lane, and Dortmund look a very good bet for the tournament outright in that sort of form.
