West Ham hero Dimitri Payet has proven himself to be a cut-above in terms of free-kick taking ability on a number of occasions this season, but on Tuesday night he pinged in an absolute beauty from a distance most wouldn't have bothered from.
With France leading 2-1 in a match they would eventually win 4-2, Payet stood over the ball from all of 35 yards, and curled an absolute beauty into the top corner.
The fact that it wasn't a knuckleball, but instead a curved free-kick, and was able to beat the keeper from that distance is remarkable:
What a player.
The amount of talent that France have at their disposal ahead of Euro 2016 is frankly disgusting. A point hammered home by the fact that N'Golo Kante scored his first goal tonight, and Bayern youngster Kingsley Coman bagged the fourth. A good bet to go far this summer.
