Another incredible moment of RTÉ punditry took place on Wednesday evening, as at half time in PSG vs Manchester City, Damien Duff, Didi Hamann, and Richie Sadlier discussed that shocking Fernando own goal.
The new "youthful" panel absolutely tore into the Brazilian, with Damien Duff even labelling him and with David Luiz the "two worst Brazilians you'll ever see", but that wasn't a patch on what Didi had in store.

The German claimed that if he was the coach of an U10 side and a kid did that, he would tell his parents not to come back next week. And it was absolutely priceless.
If I see this in a youth team game with a ten year old. If I'm the coach and he does that on a Saturday, I would go to his parents after the game and say 'don't bother coming back next Saturday.
To which Darragh Maloney, summing up a nation's feelings, responded with the entirely necessary '"Ah Didi!".
Hahahaha Didi Hamann is ruthless. Hopefully he never coaches my 10 year old 😳 #RTE2

Didi Hamann ladies and gentlemen... if a 10 year old did what Fernando did, he’d tell his parents not to bring him back. What a clown.

In summary, Didi Hamann is not the man you want coaching your kid's football team, but we'll keep him as a pundit for sure.
