Declan Rice and Kieran O'Hara returned to the team after their inclusion in Martin O'Neill's squad last week and both started tonight's match. The win means Ireland are now second in the group, three points behind Germany who were held to a scoreless draw earlier today. They are also two points ahead of Kosovo and Norway. The task is still a difficult one with home and away ties to Germany to come but the youngsters will live to fight another day after tonight's finish.
