Senegal secured a 1-0 victory over Equatorial Guinea in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying on Saturday, but Liverpool striker Sadio Mane was still left disappointed and departed the field in tears.
Mane completed the full 90 minutes which helped Senegal consolidate their position at the top of Group A. They are set to progress as top seed with one final fixture against Madagascar left.
However, Mane endured a mixed game and was visibly emotional after the final whistle. Local media outlet Metrodakar report that there is no indication of an injury and Mane was merely upset at criticism he received from the terraces during the tie.

The 26-year old is set to return to Liverpool next week as the club prepares for their next fixture, an away match against Watford.
