Celtic were given a scare on Saturday afternoon as they drew 2-2 at home to Hibernian having been behind with 10 minutes left to play.
In the end, Callum McGregor bagged his second of the game to earn the draw which extended Celtic's domestic unbeaten record for at least another week.
Speaking after the game, both managers praised the efforts of Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon, as the Scottish stopper pulled off a miraculous with the score at 1-1 in the second half. With Hibs pushing for the lead, a corner was flicked on to Steven Whittaker who thought he simply had to poke the ball home before Gordon came flying out of nowhere to deny him.
He then celebrated the save, which is something we think goalkeepers should do more.
Incredible reactions, Whittaker couldn't believe it.
Neil Lennon was quick to praise Gordon as he labelled the save 'world class' [via STV]:
It was in the balance but I don't think we set up to defend all the time. My back four were outstanding and the football they played was great.
And I don't think you'll see a better save all season from the one Craig Gordon produced. How he saved that is beyond me.
I know he has his detractors at times but that was a truly world-class save.
Gordon does have his detractors as he has shown himself to be prone to errors on occasion, but there is no doubting his ability to pull off some incredible saves, and while all goalkeepers should be "good shot stoppers", he is a stopper of good shots.
He made a fantastic save with the game far from over against Rangers last week too, and Twitter was hugely impressed with his effort today:
Craig Gordon has made perhaps the best save I ever seen.
