Cork City made club history as they reached the third round of Europa League qualifiers with a 1-0 win over Swedish outfit BK Hacken.
An impressive 5,400 fans were packed into Turners Cross to witness a famous night for their side as John Caulfield's men became the second League of Ireland club in as many nights to reach the third round of qualifying for a European competition.
Though the cameras present at The Cross would indicate some official highlights from the game are impending - on Soccer Republic, perhaps - City's pulsating victory wasn't broadcast live anywhere (except Cork's own 96FM, where Trevor Welch was in fine fettle), and as such, Corkonians who didn't make it down to the ground will have to settle for fan-filmed footage of Kevin O'Connor's winning goal.
The Cork left-back struck after 26 minutes with a sweetly-struck, first-time finish after skipper Greg Bolger's perfect delivery from a free-kick. The Rebel Army erupted accordingly.

Cork will face Genk of Belgium or Podgorica of Montenegro in the third qualifying round (the sides are locked in extra time at the time of writing, with a lucrative trip to Cork awaiting the winners).
The Leesiders will pick up a handy €220,000 bonus for their troubles.

Tonight was Cork City's 50th European tie, and manager John Caulfield has been involved in 25 of them as either player or boss.
