What a fantastic performance by Dundalk in Alkmaar!
The Irish champions looked extremely comfortable with Europa League football after they battled back from a goal down to rescue a vital point against AZ.
They had to endure nine minutes of stoppage time after a nasty incident left the AZ players very worried for their teammate Stijn Wuytens in scoring the goal, but when the game looked to be getting out of reach a powerful header from Ciaran Kilduff levelled the scores.
What a header, what a result for Dundalk!
They played some lovely football, and when most would have questioned their fitness late on they managed to find an answer, in an away European tie no less!
Stephen Kenny will be delighted, and rightfully so.
