After one of the most enthralling games of all time, Spurs are through to the Champions League semi finals. This one had everything: goals, mistakes, drama, and even more drama.
After a offensively excellent start to the game featured five goals in the opening 20 minutes, we thought the game could get much more exciting. We were wrong, very wrong. City would score once more in the second half to send City on course for the semi final, but Fernando Llorente's header gave Spurs the lead one more time.
City thought they had won it in the dying moments, but Raheem Sterling's strike wouldn't count. VAR intervened, and it was to be Spurs' night.

While all Tottenham fans breathed a sigh of relief with the decision, no man was more relieved than Christian Eriksen. It was the Dane who played the silly pass that allowed Aguero to slip in behind, but he ultimately got away with it.
Speaking after the game, he was quick to say he got away with one.
"I think I must be one of the luckiest guys on the planet!"

I think I must one of the luckiest guys on the planet today. With the last ball they scored and I thought it was over. I have to thank god for the first time that the referee gave an offside!
The whole game was a rollercoaster, there was goals, goals, goals, goals, drama everything. It was a good game to play, but I'm lucky I'm on the good side.
A very lucky boy! Spurs will now face Ajax in a mouthwatering Champions League semi final, meaning we will have one of the most unlikely finalists in some time regardless of the winners.
Ajax will be confident heading into that one considering who they have eliminated so far, while Spurs will want to tighten up what was a very leaky defence tonight.
