The Betfred League Cup semi-final draw took place on Thursday night, and everyone watching was wondering if Celtic would be drawn against Rangers again, so soon after their first meeting in years and all that followed it.
John Hartson was getting the digs in early as soon as Celtic progressed:
Good win for Celtic tonight.. Let's hope we get the easy route through and draw rangers in the semis.. ?

The other two teams in the semi-final draw were Greenock Morton and Aberdeen, and when they were drawn to face each other it became apparent that yes, it was going to happen. Chris Sutton was tasked with pulling Celtic out of the pot, knowing that a trip to Hampden to face Rangers was the outcome...
And his face was absolutely priceless:
Incredible. The zoom was perfect.
Celtic fans were quick to react to the tie that will be played on the weekend of October 22nd, many of them relishing a chance to get another crack at their bitter rivals who they convincingly beat a number of weeks ago.
Celtic will take on Rangers in the League Cup semi-final. Tie scheduled for weekend of October 22/23. More details to follow. #BetfredCup
