Chris Sutton is by far our favourite Scottish football pundit, as he takes great joy in prodding and poking his BT Sport colleagues and winding them up on live TV. It's something we've paid tribute to many times before.
However, this means that when there is a laugh to be made at his expense, the BT Sport team will absolutely not hesitate to take it, and a perfect example of this came at the start of Friday night's coverage of Hearts vs Aberdeen.
On his way over to his commentary position, Sutton passed by the travelling Aberdeen fans at the exact moment that they players ran over to warm up in front of them. Not realising this, Sutton seemed surprised to get such a good reception, and they had a good laugh about it in the BT Sport studio.
Oh dear.
He played it off well to be fair to him, and even cracked a joke at his own expense on twitter.
.@btsportfootball @AberdeenFC Big thanks to the Aberdeen fans for the ovation?? Never thought I'd win you over but thanks again ???

He's a divisive figure in Scotland, accused of Celtic bias on a regular basis, but his blunt honesty and the immense satisfaction he takes in riling his detractors up make him a firm favourite for us.
But surely he knew that the Aberdeen fans weren't applauding for him!
