Ever since Chris Smalling changed his name to Mike, he hasn't looked back.
As someone who was considered not good enough for a club like Manchester United as recently as the end of last season by many of the supporters, he has truly blossomed thanks to his partnership with Daley Blind and has been one of the club's best performers this season.
But enough about Smalling, as he only had to apply the finish. The real credit for this goal belongs to the increasingly charming Juan Mata and a truly sublime flick.
The goal put United 2-1 up after Mata had equalised following a Caligiuri goal for Wolsburg inside five minutes.
Mata is in great form this season, chipping in with three goals and four assists in seven league games, as well as a goal and an assist tonight. Andy Cole said it best:
Some of the things @juanmata8 is doing tonight ??
