Despite the fact that UEFA seem to ping Celtic with a fine every other week, the powers that be at FIFA have decided to Crown the Glasgow club's fans as the best in the world this year.
At the The FIFA Best Awards show in London on Monday night, Celtic were up against Borussia Dortmund and FC Copenhagen having been nominated thanks to their spectacular 360 degree tribute to the Lisbon Lions that was seen towards the end of last season's unbeaten domestic campaign.
Samuel Eto'o was on hand to present the award club chairman Ian Bankier gave a speech where he paid tribute to the Lisbon Lions and the importance placed on fan involvement by the legendary Jock Stein.

It is a huge honour for Celtic to be presented with the award, and will no doubt take pride of place in the club's trophy cabinet if there is any room left after last season.
