Callum Robinson was one of the few bright lights in Ireland's recent outings against Denmark and Wales, and the winger is similarly impressing in the Championship.
The 23-year-old was put in a man of the match performance in his team's 4-3 win over Brentford, scoring two and having a hand in another.
His first meaningful action of the first half was a shot which fortuitously deflected to compatriot Alan Browne, who nipped in ahead of the Brentford goalie to open the scoring:
There was nothing fortuitous about Robinson's first goal however, the winger clinically smashing home on the half volley from the edge of the box:
He added his second of the night on 69 minutes and his seventh of the season, slotting home from a low cross from Daniel Johnston:
Despite the exploits of their Irish contingent Preston were made to sweat over the result by Brentford, with second half strikes Ollie Watkins Neil Maupay giving the Lilywhites only a one goal win over their rivals.
Robinson's performance went down well with fans, some of which think Preston might have a job holding onto the Irishman come January:
PNE have turned the corner too... do well to hold on to Callum Robinson come the transfer window in January

2 of the best young talents outside the PL meeting at Deepdale tonight. Callum Robinson & Ollie Watkins, both would be excellent additions for Spurs in the next couple windows in my opinion......
