When Bastian Schweinsteiger fist signed for MLS side Chicago Fire back in March, his unveiling press conference went viral for all the wrong reason from the league's point of view.

Clearly someone who knows nothing about the sport of football was invited along to the media Q & A, and he decided to ask the German legend he felt that he could win another World Cup with the Chicago Fire...

Everybody had a good laugh, and we moved on. Since then, Basti has been putting in some good performances and was elected to the MLS All Star team that will take on Real Madrid on Wednesday night.

Speaking to the media ahead of that game, one journalist was eager to poke fun at the previous viral moment as he jokingly asked Schweinsteiger if the MLS All Stars could dethrone Germany as world champions, to which he gave a perfect response.

Well played.

He really does seem to be enjoying his time Stateside, but then again he's such a nice bloke it's hard to tell if he's secretly hating every second. It will be interesting to see how he gets on against Madrid's midfield anyway.

You can watch the full MLS All Star game press conference below if you're into that sort of thing.
