Anthony Martial, take a bow.
It may only be a friendly, but Manchester United's Anthony Martial has forced several Real Madrid defenders to reconsider their life choices as he put a goal on a plate for Jesse Lingard in Santa Clara.
As the match looked to be heading into half-time at 0-0, the Frenchman picked up the ball after some dogged work from Marouane Fellaini and weaved his way through three Madrid defenders showing some barely believable footwork to make space for a square ball that Jesse Lingard could not fail to score.
It looks as if he's playing in fast forward.
The replay angles really do it more justice.
Wow.
Martial faces a tough battle to earn Mourinho's trust as rumours of a deal for Ivan Perisic refuse to go away, and the fact that Marcus Rashford looks increasingly undroppable complicates things further.
However, the best feature of his outstanding debut season was his ability to cut through teams on his own and create a goal from nothing, so if he can produce that with any sort of consistency he'll be a key player for the club.
Sensational stuff in America.
