The Ligue 1 match between Amiens and Lille on Saturday was abandoned after a barrier in the away section appeared to collapse, causing multiple Lille fans to crash onto the pitch.

Injured spectators were evactuated from the Stade de la Licorne by the emergency services, and thankfully there were no serious injuries.

The incident occured in the 15th minute as the visiting fans celebrated Fode Ballo-Toure's scoring the opening goal. A number of fans tumbled onto the pitch when the fencing gave way and Lille players immediately went over to the distressed fans to ensure that nobody was badly hurt.
