Ten years ago, Alan Pardew lost an FA Cup final to Liverpool while in charge of West Ham. Now he has a shot at redemption, as his Crystal Palace side have set up a repeat of the 1990 FA Cup final with Manchester United.

Palace's win heightens the similarities between this season and Manchester United's season in 1989/90. A beleaguered United manager is saved by a goal from an unheralded striker (Mark Robins/Marcus Rashford) which allowed him to set up a shot at redemption in an FA Cup final against Crystal Palace.
