Lyon vs Roma looked like the most exciting Europa League last 16 tie on paper, and sure enough it turned out to be the most exciting game of Thursday's fixtures with a cracking match in France.
After Lyon took an early lead, Roma looked to grasp total control of the tie as Mohammed Salah levelled the scores before defender Federico Fazio headed home to put the Italians on the front foot.
Lyon would go on to mount a comeback, and their night was capped by a fantastic strike from Lacazette who showed exactly why so many clubs are in the race to secure his signature when does decide to move on.
The celebration was Cantona-esque, too.
What a strike, the term 'thunderbastard' was invented for that sort of thing.
The return leg in Rome will be a fascinating watch next week, as while the French side have a two-goal advantage to protect, Roma's away goals will give them confidence and they'll have to attack from the first whistle.
