Preston North End returned to winning ways today with a 2-1 victory against QPR and move just three points off a playoff spot.
Callum Robinson, who recently declared his interest in togging out for the Republic of Ireland, pulled one back for Preston after QPR took the lead through Matt Smith. Chasing the victory, Preston launched a free-kick into the box where it was well met by Alan Browne. Although, his goal-bound effort was encouraged along by Robinson despite the goal already being assured.
The Club gave the goal to Alan Browne.

However, a late claim to the goal was made by midfielder John Welsh, who may lose out given he was not on the pitch at the time.
