Ireland have taken the lead in their friendly match against Poland in Wroclaw tonight. The man who has made the difference is Milwall striker Aiden O'Brien, making his debut in the green of Ireland after being called up to the squad by Martin O'Neill.
The goal came about on 53 minutes after some great work by Richard Keogh and Callum O'Dowda, with the latter showing great ingenuity to outfox the Polish defence before swinging in an inch perfect ball that was duly nodded home by O'Brien.
Despite Ireland having taken the lead, Poland can feel hard done by to be behind after spurning two good chances to score in the first half.
