Aiden McGeady smashed home another 25-yard goal to salvage a point for Sunderland as they drew 1-1 with Queen Park Rangers, the result leaving Sunderland without a league win in 10 games.
QPR dominated the first half and were rewarded in the 37th minute when Idrissa Sylla headed home from an inswinging corner to put the visitors ahead before halftime.
Sunderland upped the intensity in the second half and twice tested QPR goalkeeper Alex Smithies before McGeady curled home from 25 yards in the 61st minute. The winger received a pass from midfielder Didier N'dong, beating a QPR defender to curl home with his left foot.
The winger has scored three goals in nine Championship appearances but his side have not win a league game since August when they beat Norwich City 3-1 at Carrow Road.
