Ask any football fan about Brazilian striker Adriano and chances are the vast majority will blurt out something about the glory days of Pro Evolution Soccer.
It's understandable, as because he was the favourite player of PES executive producer Shingo 'Seabass' Takatsuka, his abilities were exaggerated to the point where he became one of the most devastating characters ever to appear in a video game. So much so that we did a statistical analysis as to what made him so damn good.
But he was also rather good at actual football, for a bit. While at Inter Milan, Adriano looked set to become the next legendary Brazilian striker before personal problems and distractions pulled his career off track.
We've heard and seen a lot about his weight issues in recent years, and his alarming association with a gang in the favela he called home in Brazil, so it's great to see him looking in good shape while being honoured by Inter Milan fans at the San Siro, as he was on Wednesday night.
Likely to bring a tear to every Master League manager's eye.
In all seriousness, he's looking well, so good for him. He watched on as Inter beat Lazio 3-0, although the loudest cheer of the night was for the Brazilian striker as he did a lap of honour with tears in his eyes. Lovely stuff.
