On the comeback trail to regaining full fitness, Adam Lallana found himself turning-out for the Liverpool U-23s tonight.
It didn't go as well as could have been expected.
Trailing Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at the time, Lallana scarcely had to wait for the referee to show him the red card before making his way down the tunnel.
Reacting poorly to a tackle from George Marsh, the former Southampton man took it upon himself to demand satisfaction.
Grabbing his opponent in what appears to be an attempt at choking him out from the back, Lallana looked particularly furious with what indeed was a poor initial challenge.
Not that everyone is overly impressed with what they've seen from a 'senior' professional.

Klopp will not be happy with Adam Lallana. That’s a 3 game ban at least. Need him back ASAP.

You've got to say that's massively unprofessional from Adam Lallana. Not a great challenge on him but you can't be grabbing people, round the neck on a football field whatever the level. May have been frustrated he wasn't really having much influence on the game.
