Pre-season is a place where footballers can try things that they would perhaps be too worried to risk in circumstances where the outcome really matters, and that point was proven by Juraj Kucka of AC Milan.
After playing out a 3-3 draw (in which Kucka scored in normal time), Milan and Bayern Munich had to follow through with the formality of a penalty shootout as per the rules of the utterly meaningless International Champions Cup.
Step forward that man Juraj Kucka, or Kuco as he likes to have on his shirt, who showcased his Slovakian balls of steel and chipped the ball perfectly down the middle despite the risk of looking like as much of a tit as Jermaine Jenas did that one time for Newcastle.
Perfection.
AC Milan would go on to win the shootout 5-3 and without missing a penalty, but really everybody should have just walked off after Kucko's penalty.
