Celtic have reestablished their nine point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.
Traveling to third-placed Aberdeen, Brendan Rodgers' side ran out 2-0 winners in the end. A fairly routine win, it was not a game without incident however.
Celtic went ahead through Moussa Dembele toward the end of the first half, the French man ghosting in at the back post to finish off a well-worked cross by James Forrest.
The afternoon would not end on a purely positive note however; Mikael Lustig being sent off for a second yellow-card after 75 minutes.
Perhaps a little vulnerable with only a one-goal lead and now ten men, Celtic's other star full-back Kieran Tierney made sure that no points were dropped in Pittodrie.
A wonderful finish after some exemplary build-up play from Dembele, Tierney's left-foot finish left Freddie Woodman with little or chance.

Ok can everyone now stop laughing at me when I say Kieran Tierney is Scotland’s Gareth Bale.

And yet, that was still not the end of things for this tie.
Now sitting three points shy of second-placed Rangers, Aberdeen's afternoon was made even worse when Sam Cosgrove, making his debut off the bench this afternoon, found himself sent off eight minutes after coming on in the first place.
The 21-year-old English man made the move north in the January transfer window, but he may not look back on this with any pride whatsoever - not that his 'victim' Scott Brown seemed overly bothered.
Celtic play Dundee in the league next before traveling to Ibrox to face Rangers in what should be a league decider.
