Charlton Athletic moved into the play-off spots tonight thanks to a 2-0 win against Shrewsbury tonight.
Jason Pearce opened the scoring for Lee Bowyer's side before Josh Magennis finished a comical goal at the death. A bobbling backpass to Dean Henderson saw the Shrewsbury keeper bomb the ball into the air and lose sight of it. By the time it returned to ground Josh Magennis was on hand to finish.

90: It's a second for Charlton, the ball back to Henderson who had come out, he cleared but the ball went high, it dropped to Magennis who looped the ball over him to make it 2-0 #salop

90+8' Goal Charlton. Magennis has scored after Henderson booted it in the air midway through his half. Well.

The result means Shrewsbury are now unlikely to make the top two and face a play-off challenge.
