Earlier today we brought you this howitzer from West Brom youth team player Dara O'Shea. The latest to bloat the list of 'Irish youngster scores stunning goal for English youth team' is Sam Warde, a seventeen-year-old midfielder for Huddersfield Town.
Warde is from Limerick and joined Huddersfield's youth ranks as a fourteen-year-old in 2014. His coach Tony Carss said at the time that Warde was "very good technically in terms of receiving and passing; he has good awareness and always wants the ball. He’s also a good athlete, with scope for further development".
It appears Warde has since gone about proving his coach right. As proof, have a look at this exquisite lob Warde scored in a 7-0 win against Coventry Under-18s. His goal comes at 4.43 and finished the scoring:
Extra marks for the ball bouncing behind the goal-line.
