Across the lockdown, we've been settling some of the great debates of Irish life through brackets. We've decided Ireland's greatest TV star and the best-ever Ireland jersey. Well we're upping the ante this week as we settle a truly challenging debate: who was the Ireland's greatest ever manager or coach?
Before we start, we must establish some criteria: we're considering people who managed teams or individuals (as opposed to trained horses). It doesn't matter if they're English or Italian if they've worked with Irish teams. Similiarly, Irishmen who've done their best work abroad are also eligible.
As listeners to The Buildup will know, picking a final list of 16 was next to impossible, but we did it.
Here's the Round of 16. Cast your vote now for Ireland's Greatest Manager in association with Ladbrokes before the vote closes Friday.
