Vivianne Miedema became the all-time leading goalscorer for Netherlands Women at the age of just 22 as she scored her 60th goal for her country.
The Arsenal striker was unplayable in the Women's Super League this season, scoring 22 goals and adding another 10 assists as she led the Gunners to their first league title in seven years.
It appears she has carried that good form into this summer's World Cup. Even after failing to get on the scoresheet during Netherlands' opening round defeat of New Zealand, Miedema found the back of the net twice as the European champions put Cameroon to the sword in a 3-1 win on Saturday.
Miedema came into the tournament a goal behind ex-Dutch forward Manon Melis on the all-time list and it was really a matter of when, not if, she would break the record set by the former Seattle Reign star and she did not disappoint.

The 22-year-old opened the scoring on Saturday afternoon - her 77th appearance for the national team - working brilliantly in the box to get on the end of Shanice van de Sanden's cross to tie the record - and fans did not have to wait much longer to see her take the title all for her own.
For the second, Miedema took the ball 30 yards out before working her way to the edge of the Cameroonian box, before a quick feint wrongfooted the 'keeper as she smashed the ball into the near corner to etch her name in the history books.
The result puts the Netherlands top of Group E ahead of Canada's clash with New Zealand tonight all but guarantees them a spot in the last 16 as they look to win their second major tournament in a row after Miedema scored twice in their Euro 2017 final win over Denmark.
