It may be the biggest cliché in football but that doesn't mean it's not a much loved cliché. Sky Sports News have turned Harry Redknapp at the car window into an image as iconic as Cantona's pose or Keegan shouting down the camera underneath a big pair of headphones.
Today it was Gary Cotterill's turn to snag the iconic interview and, as of the time of writing, he is failing miserably. On his way into QPR's training ground, Redknapp skilfully waited for Cotterill to do a live link before driving past him at break neck speed.
Then, as he was leaving, Redknapp played a game of cat and mouse with our intrepid reporter, a game in which the QPR manager very definitely came out on top.
But don't worry, Cotterill has assured us that Redknapp will be back. We wait with bated breath.
