Dear old Weso is getting the worst of it online over an apparent dive for Norwich against Middlesbrough tonight.
While it's true that only foreigners dive, this footage doesn't look good for Wes. We reckon he was just doing what any striker/creative midfielder would do in that situation.
Maybe in light of Weso's diving, we should adopt the South American attitude and just say that deceit is part of football and accept diving as one of the cheekier, more devious skills in the attacking player's arsenal. Something to inspire a bit of a cheeky wink and a nudge rather furious moralistic condemnation.
Many English football fans with twitter accounts have used those same twitter accounts to damn Wes for his propensity to fall to the ground.

An own goal early on gifted Middlesbrough victory and took them to the top of the Championship. Norwich remain in the hunt for a playoff spot. Mick's Ipswich have also crept into a playoff position indicating that the tantalising prospect of an Old Farm playoff final could be in the offing.
I'm a fan of Wes Hoolahan, but that's disgraceful. Red cards would stop diving altogether. #Norwich v #Boro — Brighty (@Mark__Bright) April 17, 2015
So Wes Hoolahan has been diving again. In other news the sky is blue.
