In their surely doomed quest to overhaul Dundalk's lead at the top of the Airtricity League, Cork City look to be running out of road.
Derry City went to Turner's Cross last night and took a point, leaving Cork ten points behind Dundalk with five games remaining.
During the course of the game, Derry's Ryan McBride, who later won Man of the Match, went in for a tackle, winning the ball and send two Cork City players flying in the process.
Possibly nervy at the sight of McBride's studs, the referee whistled for a free and booked McBride, something the player was unhappy with in the post match interview.
