36-year-old Middlesbrough flop Massimo Maccarone is still playing football, and the Empoli captain is back scoring goals. He bagged a double for the Italian side in their 3-2 victory which sent Empoli up to sixth after a fourth consecutive victory.

But it was the celebration after Maccarone's first goal - on 42 minutes - that was eye catching. The Italian had just helped his team to regain the lead after Bologna had equalised - and singled out a fan's beer in the crowd. Maccarone takes a nice slug of the beer before returning to play on.

Empoli's lead didn't last long, as Mattia Destro scored before half-time to level the scores for the second time.

Maccarone scored again just after half time, and that was enough for Empoli to claim the spoils.

The former Middlesbrough striker earned his beer.
