Marouane Fellaini is not a bad footballer and, as much as some might disagree (as they are well entitled to), he never was. He became a scapegoat for David Moyes' style of play last season and, as such, took an inordinate amount of criticism that would shake the confidence of even the most big-headed of players.
Now that he is no longer the centre of attention he can get back to being the kind of player he was when Everton signed him from Standard Liege i.e. a more than competent ball playing midfielder. He began his re-birth against West Brom and Chelsea and if this piece of skill in Sunday's derby is anything to go by, he could quite possibly become a surprise asset to Louis Van Gaal in the near future.
All hail king Marouane (too far?)
