Anderson's quote about players wanting to leave Manchester United provoked an interesting debate on Monday Night Football last night. The Brazilian has gone on loan from Manchester United to Fiorentina, and his naming of Nani as another unhappy player gave us a beautiful moment of Gary Neville contempt.
"I am sure that lots of players want out. Especially people like myself and Nani, who have been in Manchester for seven or eight years. Manchester United is a huge club, a club that does everything for its players, but sometimes a footballer wants to leave just to experience a different way to play football and to learn something as well".
Neville's reaction was priceless.
In response, Jamie Carragher pointed out that the players who allegedly want to leave won't be exactly spoiled for choice of bigger clubs to move to.
