Ever wondered what football would look like if it were crossed with Greco-Roman wrestling? Well wonder no more because Bradford's 2-0 defeat at the hands of Sheffield United on Saturday gave us just that.
Bradford's Northern Irish centre back, Rory McArdle, was having none of Stefan Scougall's desire to stay upright in the box and promptly sent him to the canvas with a less than textbook suplex. McArdle's 'challenge' on Scougall was, as you can see, perfectly legitimate in the eyes of referee Simon Hooper who waved play on despite some indication that it may have been a penalty.
