Crystal Palace are hoping to continue their great start to the season with a home win against struggling Aston Villa. The game was goalless for the first hour before Eagles striker Dwight Gayle put the ball in the back of the net after 60 minutes:

Even though the ball clearly hits of the chest of James McArthur who was standing in an offside position - both the referee and the assistant referee didn't see any reason to disallow the goal and it was given.
Until...
As Chris Kamara was telling Jeff and the boys on Soccer Saturday about the change in scoreline - the fourth official at the game decided enough was enough, and came in to intervene and the goal was chalked off for offside.
It's clearly the right decision - but it's the first time that a fourth official has come in to rule out a goal - where was this in that World Cup playoff?
