Liverpool's Europa League trip to Spain comes on the back of the news that every Merseysider had been waiting far too long to hear, and fans of the club, and fans of football in general, were delighted to see Villarreal fans unveil a banner in support of those who lost their lives in the Hillsborough tragedy.
Prior to kick-off, a big yellow banner containing the iconic phrase "You'll Never Walk Alone" was displayed as a showing of solidarity, which was very well received by their opponents:
Villarreal paid tribute to the Liverpool fans killed at Hillsborough before kick-off.
