There was a video on Saturday about Villa fans being a bit dickheadery towards the opposition Newcastle fans at Villa Park yesterday - but it looks like things were much were than that.
After one Villa fan reported being struck by a Newcastle supporter in the head - the vitriol of abuse that was sent his way was deplorable
Walking down the road towards Villa Park on my own, @NUFC fan appears from nowhere and punches me in the head.

Meanwhile, his mates surround me and call me a wanker. What great representatives of @NUFC.

Have never seen a set of fans so openly trying to cause trouble at Villa Park as the @nufc fans today. Stay safe, Villans.

Having traffic cones, stones and bottles chucked at us now. @nufc fans a complete and utter disgrace today. #AVFC

Even if you don't believe Thomas' story, which is bad enough - there is no place for the level of vitriol and abuse that exists online like that. For any reason.
