Nemanja Vidic looks set to leave Old Trafford after his agent said he is unlikely to sign a new contract.
His deal runs out at the end of the season and numerous Italian clubs are interested in his services.
His agent Silvano Martina said:
At the moment, I would rule out an extension with Manchester United. Vidic, given his contract situation, has several teams looking at him. Vidic is a very good player and will have no trouble finding a new club. For the time being we are remaining calm. At the moment there has been no contact (with Napoli) but they are one of the best clubs in Europe.
The Mail say that United currently have a policy of only offering one-year deals to players over thirty years of age and but that Vidic would prefer a longer contract.
