Here's Dundalk FC frontman Pat Hoban letting the emotion of winning the league get the better of him while speaking to RTE Sport's Tony O'Donoghue. The Lilywhites' 2-0 victory over Cork City in last night's winner-take-all showdown Oriel Park secured their first title since 1995.
He immediately apologised to O'Donoghue when he realised what he'd let slip (just after the 50 second mark), which was rather impressive in its rarity.
The full interview with himself and Daryl Horgan is worth watching to see what the victory means to the pair and their adoring, if intrusive fans. Cue the zealots (this writer included) with their "you wouldn't see that kind of closeness in your Premier League" comments.
